With the Mavens, Rubenstein discusses the importance of PBS's educational programs (particularly for the younger generations), important lessons he has learned from his career, and how PBS has helped provide educational programming to children across the country during the COVID-19 pandemic. “As a system, our membership stations really rose to the challenge as kids were sent home and became, in many cases the way that they [the kids] were provided remote learning, because not everyone has broadband…” Rubenstein said.
