How Great Is Our God!

Today’s episode is (hopefully) going to serve as a reminder to us to keep the main thing the main thing. We can get caught up in teaching, learning, memorizing scripture, “is this a sin? Is that a sin?”...and don’t get me wrong. All of those things are so important! But I want to refocus on, not on us as the center of our spiritual universe, but who should be at the center of our universe: God.I think we innocently forget to put Him at the center of everything we do. We tend to focus more on what God can do for us and we focus less on who He really is. When we get ready to pray, we come prepared with a list of requests for our God. "God, please do this in my life."But, I want you to really consider what I am trying to convey here and be brutally honest with yourself. Do you treat your relationship with God more as a transactional relationship (I will give you this if you give me that) or more like we should where we pursue a relationship with God because we understand and revere His majesty, Glory, and wonder?! Our motivation to continue to follow Him is not because of what He can bless you with (although He is perfectly capable of doing that.) Your true joy comes when you remember what you deserve. -------------------Have you been wanting to grow that more intimate relationship with God or spend more time in the word but just don’t know where to start?
