S4 Ep 07 - Leanne’s positive birth stories

Trigger warning: third stage labour manual removal and haemorrhage. In this episode I chat to fellow hypnobirthing instructor Leanne about her two positive births. Leanne talks about how positive and memorable her births were, and how important hypnobirthing was in achieving this. However her third stage of labour with both births did not go as planned, and whilst the experience post birth was difficult, she still feels positive about the experience and chats to me about why. While the post birth did not go to plan, her stories are powerful examples of why birth prep and having tools to stay calm and in control is so important.
