For the last 38 years, ministry has been a family affair for Dr. Mark R. Pitts, establishing and planting many churches and ministries. His wife, Susan, and daughter, Becky Thompson, co-authored the USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestseller Midnight Mom Devotional, and co-manage the Midnight Mom Devotional online community, a space where moms can find encouragement, community, and nightly prayer, which has amassed more than 1.3 million followers. As the mom community grew, the family felt called to create a space to bring nightly prayers and encouragement to dads, and Mark took the lead. In 2019, they created the Midnight Dad Devotional online community. He is an ordained pastor and a well-known Bible teacher in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, area where he lives with his wife, Susan. They have been married for 41 years and have two adult daughters and three grandchildren.
