Honeymoons are very emotional and being planned at a very busy time of your life. Consider budget, think about the honeymoon registries. If you are leaving right after your wedding, you are going to be exhausted, so consider your energy levels. Cruises are not necessarily a great first choice because it's your first big vacation together and you don't want to be surrounded by 5000 other people with little control over your schedule. Think about what you want to experience together (Drink wine, eat good food, go hiking, etc?) Tips for Jet Lag: Take a "no jet lag" homeopathic pill an hour before your flight and follow the instructions. When crossing time zones, change your watch as soon as you get on the plane, the earliest you can so your body can start adjusting. Drink lots of water. Bring whatever brings you comfort and helps you feel "at home" (pillow, favorite eye mask, etc.) When you arrive, stick to the time zone as much as possible. Try not to keep your old sleep schedule. It will make it so much easier to adjust. What are your top favorites for honeymoons? With Covid restrictions, traveling outside the US can be very challenging. Consider places that you haven't been able to explore in the states. New Your city can be so wonderful if you've never really spent a lot of time in cities.
