The pandemic has forever changed the child care landscape and we need fresh tools to help us succeed. More than ever, we are facing a dilemma with staffing issues and keeping up with the school's overhead cost. Colleges and universities across the world are realizing that more people are not majoring in education and seeing a steady decline in enrollment. But all is not lost, there are some people who feel that education particularly child care is something that they to pursue. Yes, the competition is steep but we need a new roadmap to only retain our best and brightest but attract those as well. I've experienced firsthand how a Director saw my untapped potential which led to opportunities that otherwise would have been dormant. When thinking about your child development center, ponder on what's needed, who can accomplish it, and advertise for it. With greater reason, we must develop our employee's untapped potential like never before.
