Damien and I connected a while back when he was going through a really tough time and looking to leave Policing and we started working together to put a plan in place and went through the whole process.  He had knock back after knock back and came so close but never quite got the role but he kept going, kept plugging away and finally got a fantastic new role with the NHS and handed in his resignation a few months back.
