In our winner episode of the Man Booker International Prize podcast we go behind-the-scenes at the 2016 winner ceremony at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London where South Korean writer Han Kang and her translator Deborah Smith are crowned the winners with The Vegetarian.Host Joe Haddow speaks to VIP guests in the dazzling atmosphere before and after the announcement, including TV presenter Anne Robinson and her daughter Emma Wilson, and 1991 Man Booker Prize winner Ben Okri OBE.Joe also gets the chance to speak to the winning author and translator team. Deborah tells us how emotional she felt on hearing the news and that she's afraid to look back at any footage, whilst Kang remained calm and collected on stage.
