The Bookshop Chronicles - A podcast by Brandi Morpurgo

Our bookstore has been open for 5 months now, and I cannot believe it. I've been caught up in this glorious whirlwind and have met the most wonderful people! Today I am sharing a conversation I had with Scott Messenger, author of Tapping the West, a book about the craft beer industry right here in Alberta. Since it has been on our shelves, Scott's book has resonated with our readers in such a huge way that I just knew he was someone you would want to hear more from on this podcast. As a parent, an author, and someone with a day job, Scott shares his process for managing his time and the value in persevering in the publishing business when you have something great to share with readers. As well, I offer a little encouragement for those of you stuck in the reading rut of SHOULDS. Let it go, Friend!     Our bookstore offers audiobooks which you can listen to on your iPhone, Android device, or PC. These audiobooks are available through our partner, Libro.fm, and all sales support our store.   Want to be a Guest on my Podcast? Want to tell me about what you're reading? Let's talk!
