Scaling to $10k Months If you’re setting a big goal of hitting a 10k month, and including a la carte projects in that 10k, how many projects do you have to take on in order to hit that goal? Consider this, if you’re offering business card design as a service at an average rate of $150/design, then you would need to take on 67 business card designs in order to hit $10k/month. By removing the a la carte services and offering a cohesive brand design service at $5k per project, you would only need to book two clients to hit that $10k month. While a la carte services may seem like a good starting point, they will not serve you well if you plan to scale.
