Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend! I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks… Let’s get started!    Marco: Hi there! You usually say that if an individual is getting a tan, then it means it is not necessary to supplement with vitamin D. Let's say I go overseas and I get really really tan and dark after 7 days, once I come back home (winter), the tan still lasts for around a month or two. Does this mean that I don't need to supplement with vitamin D for as long as I have the tan? I hope my question makes sense! Gabe: Hi Dr.Cabral, I was curious what your thoughts are on detoxing after surgery. I just got all four of my wisdom teeth out, and although I didn’t want to take it, I was in so much pain that I did end up taking the prescribed vicodin for a few days. I want to keep my body healthy, I’ve been taking healthy belly everyday since my tooth removal, and am looking to do my scheduled detox a week after my surgery (when I have no my pain and can eat normal foods). Do you think I’m on the right tract, do you have any additional recommendations to get my body back on track. I am also going to be traveling home for thanksgiving and want to be ready. Thanks!! Georgi: Hi Dr Cabral, thank you so much for your podcast. It truly has helped my family and I so much! At the moment, I’m buying bottled spring water, I know it’s not the best but I can’t afford a high quality filter right now. My question is, should I fill my kettle with tap water or bottled water? Is it ok to use tap, given that the water is boiled before it is consumed? My second question is, what about soups? Can I also use tap water or should I be using bottled spring water? Thank you so much! Erica: Hello!! Like everyone else always says... THANK YOU! From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you share with us!I am a 36 yr old female with a 2 and 4 year old. I was diagnosed with elevated prolactin back in 2007 When I was lactating for no apparent reason. Did an mri with nothing amiss. I never really addressed the issue prior to children. Never had an issue getting pregnant til after my first and my period didn’t come back. I did another mri after my first child and it showed a 3 mm prolactinoma. I was then put on cabergoline and within 2 months was pregnant with my second and discontinued cabergoline. Anyway, fast forward and I had to go back on cabergoline to get my period back after my second child. I was on the medication for 1 year 3 months then had another mri and the prolactinoma is gone. I chose to be removed off the medication. I have been off for 3 months now and my prolactin is back elevated again.... only to 57 this time. Do you have any recommendations to keep the prolactinoma day bay and level out my prolactin? I desperately do not want to go back on cabergoline.I completed the big 5 a few months ago... but that was when I was on the medication so I feel like it didn’t give a good outlook on where my body stands naturally when it comes to my hormones Dexter: Hello Dr Cabral. My question is a tad sensitive but I wanna know if it's any cause for worry. Recently, over a pst fortnight or so, I realised I am not having natural nocturnal/morning erections upon waking up. I don't know if it's because I am always waking up outside REM cycle or another issue but is this a cause for concern? I am a fit, lean early 30's male, who uses Equilibrium supplements or those you recommend, eats healthily plus use muscle supplements to naturally aid testosterone production like Maca, ashwagandha, muira puama, l citrulline, arginine, tongkat Ali. So far there's no issue when I'm with my fiancée, just wanna know. Thanks for all that you do. Kati: Hi Dr. Cabral,Thanks for this opportunity, I really appreciate your input! We welcomed a 3 year old foster child into our family who has constant diarrhoea or very loose stool. We are in the process of getting him off gluten right now, he is almost completely dairy and sugar free. Only the meals at day care are out of our control. Also, we know that his development has been compromised during pregnancy and while living with his parents which might explain digestive malfunction. He gets a daily multi, probiotics and bentolite clay and as much fresh veggies as we can sneak in. Fruit seems to worsen his problem. Is there anything that you would recommend?Thank you so very much, I am excited to hear your advice!Kati Thank you for tuning into this weekend’s Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right! - - - Show Notes & Resources:  http://StephenCabral.com/1745 - - - Dr. Cabral's New Book, The Rain Barrel Effect https://amzn.to/2H0W7Ge - - - Join the Community & Get Your Questions Answered: http://CabralSupportGroup.com - - -  Dr. Cabral’s Most Popular At-Home Lab Tests: > Complete Minerals & Metals Test (Test for mineral imbalances & heavy metal toxicity) - - - > Complete Candida, Metabolic & Vitamins Test (Test for 75 biomarkers including yeast & bacterial gut overgrowth, as well as vitamin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Mood & Metabolism Test (Discover your complete thyroid, adrenal, hormone, vitamin D & insulin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Sleep & Hormones Test (Run your adrenal & hormone levels) - - - > Complete Food Sensitivity Test (Find out your hidden food sensitivities) - - - > Complete Omega-3 & Inflammation Test (Discover your levels of inflammation related to your omega-6 to omega-3 levels)
