Currently on week 3 of CBO protocol after taking OAT (mild bacterial imbalances). My last 2 pregnancies I've had prematurely ruptured membranes and been on bed rest...therefore, I've been on the pill then an IUD for the last 6 years. My IUD is due to be removed in September of 2021...my 3 questions are these:  -What are the top things I can do to support my body and hormones for the IUD removal?  -any idea what could cause pre ruptured membranes and how I could avoid it next time? (My docs had no idea)  -lastly, I also hope to go off the 50mg of sertraline I've been taking the last 3 years after the CBO finisher....how can I support my mood during that weaning process? (I've searched and listened to podcasts on these topics) Thanks in advanve! Lexi: I have been researching on detoxing for weeks now. There is so much information on both sides. Some say yes, some say you don’t need it. Much of my research has found that we don’t need to detox because our organs naturally excrete our bodies of toxins. If you would please give me a non-biased explanation of detoxing, I would appreciate that. Please help me to understand why and if detoxing is truly needed or if it a fad. Missey: Hi Dr Cabral, I’ve benefitted for years from your information and supplements. So thank you!  I’m hoping you can help with my constant struggle with constipation. I’ve tried so many things such as intestinal cleanses, oxy powder, magnesium, enemas, lemon water etc. I’ve also removed dairy from my diet. Constipation has always been an issue, but it seems to be getting worse as I age. GI docs all day the same thing: drink water, add fiber and exercise, all of which I already do.  I was wondering if you had any thoughts/advice for me and specifically what are your thoughts on Colon Hydrotherapy? Jenna: I heard someone say that the toxins that your body sweats out during a workout are just re-absorbed back into the skin if you don't immediately shower afterward. Do you think this is true?
