The Cabral Concept - A podcast by Dr. Stephen Cabral

Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows! This is where we answer our community's wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track! Check out today's questions:  Nate: Hi Dr. Cabral, I just completed the intestinal cleanse during my CBO protocol, and despite using up to 5 capsules each time by day 2, and doing the whole cleanse for 5 days as per the instructions and plenty of hydration and exercise, I never had more than one bowel movement a day (which is what I was having before the cleanse). The only change was that stools were darker because of the black powder. This response does not seem normal - what can explain it? Does this means I technically did not cleanse the die-off enough? Should I have continued for more days? Any help is much appreciated! Thank you for all you do! Nate Janie: Hello Dr. Cabral, I’m writing in because I am concerned about my HRV. I started wearing a Fitbit a year ago because I was interested in the cardiovascular tracking technology as I have a family history of strokes & cardiovascular problems. I am a 49 year old women, always remained active throughout my life & never struggled with weight gain or fluctuations. I exercise regularly (I powerwalk around 5 miles a day, my steps are often between 15-20k on my tracker), I eat exceptionally well (tons of veggies in my diet), I drink a little coffee and wine but nothing excessive, I have a good home life with low stress but my HRV is in a range between 14-20 & usually on the lower side. Everything that I read says I am way lower than optimal but I do all of the things that it says to do to optimize? I am concerned bc I have read that this can be a warning sign of strokes. Should I talk to a doctor about screening tests or is there anything you would suggest I do to improve my HRV? MacKenzie: Will the environmental toxicity test show if my saline breast implants are causing me to be sick? If so what do I look for on the test to show me that? Sam: What causes skin tags and are there any natural ways to get rid of them? It seems like I get a couple new ones each year. They are very small but can be annoying. Kelsey: I have gilberts syndrome so it’s hard to tell what my fatigue is coming from. I don’t love the idea of having silicone in my body but have extremely uneven breasts so I am scared to get them removed. Are there any tests to test for silicone? Will the environmental toxicity test show me anything? Kenzie: My OAT showed I am deficient in amino acids. What would you suggest? Saw that amino acids or bcaas can cause cancer Thank you for tuning into today's Cabral HouseCall and be sure to check back tomorrow where we answer more of our community’s questions!  - - - Show Notes & Resources: http://StephenCabral.com/1926 - - - Get Your Question Answered: http://StephenCabral.com/askcabral   - - - Dr. Cabral's New Book, The Rain Barrel Effect https://amzn.to/2H0W7Ge - - - Join the Community & Get Your Questions Answered: http://CabralSupportGroup.com - - -  Dr. Cabral’s Most Popular At-Home Lab Tests: > Complete Minerals & Metals Test (Test for mineral imbalances & heavy metal toxicity) - - - > Complete Candida, Metabolic & Vitamins Test (Test for 75 biomarkers including yeast & bacterial gut overgrowth, as well as vitamin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Mood & Metabolism Test (Discover your complete thyroid, adrenal, hormone, vitamin D & insulin levels) - - - > Complete Stress, Sleep & Hormones Test (Run your adrenal & hormone levels) - - - > Complete Food Sensitivity Test (Find out your hidden food sensitivities) - - - > Complete Omega-3 & Inflammation Test (Discover your levels of inflammation related to your omega-6 to omega-3 levels) - - - > View all Functional Medicine lab tests (View all Functional Medicine lab tests you can do right at home for you and your family!)
