You asked. We answered. This is a question we’ve gotten a lot: what’s the difference between being a Christ-owned business and being a Christed-based business. It really comes down to which kind of audience you want to serve. We’re breaking down how you can decide what’s going to be best for you  and your business when it comes to Godly entrepreneurship and how you can show up as a Christian in your business.  There Is No Right or Wrong Don’t let anyone “should on you” about your business and how you operate. Allow God to be the center of your life and it will always bleed over into your business. But that doesn’t mean you have to have a “Christian” business. There isn’t just one way to do this. It is about what God is inviting you into for your business. You are the CEO of your business.  Understand the Differences You can be a Christian owned business that serves a variety of clients, but still lives out your Christian walk within your business. Or, you can be a Christian front-facing business that actively markets to Christians and includes Christian principles within the business. Whatever you decide, you can’t straddle the line between the two.  If you have a Christian based business, you are still showing others the love of Christ in your business. How you run your business has to be different from how the world runs their businesses. If you are a front-facing Christian business, then you have to figure out what that looks like for you - in an authentic, genuine way that works for you and your business.   Integrate Your Faith Look for ways to incorporate God into your business. It might not even be that your clients see what you are doing behind the scenes, but you know. It might even be that you ask your clients what would be comfortable for them. Try some things in your business - see how it feels. Trust the process as you figure it out and let go of what doesn’t work. Sticky Situations in Godly Entrepreneurship As a Christian, we will face some sticky situations as business owners. Be clear about who you are and who you serve. When you do that, it’s easy to say no to people who are not your ideal client. In addition, when people sign on with you, they can feel comfortable with what your business offers. And if you want to make an exception now and again, you can, because you are the CEO of your business.  Other Episodes Mentioned Today Episode 31: Finding True Freedom in a World of False Promises as a Christian Business Owner Episode Links Want to protect your business with a solid Privacy POlicy, Terms and Conditions, and Disclaimer?
