Boosting their esteem

Our children are going out into a world that is has unprecedented social interaction. In order to cope they will need to build up their sense of value and esteem from their primary belonging group - their family. They will take their values from the group they most belong to - as lovely as their friends are, they're not a reliable source for establishing their core strength just yet.
