My Music Producer Offseason

Do Music Producers need an offseason? This was a question that I posed to myself after taking my annual year end break to recharge after an eventful 2020. At first glance it appears to be an almost laughable idea. You, like many others may think to yourself... why would a producer need an offseason? We sit at desks and make beats all day, it's not like we are athletes. But when you consider the mental wear and tear that growing a successful music career can apply and think about just how long a year actually is, it doesn't seem so far fetched.
