God of Creation (Meditation Monday Series)

"In the beginning…God created the heavens and the earth." Genesis 1:1 As we meditate upon the Names and attributes of God, we see the beauty and AWE in the multi-faceted nature of who God is. He speaks to us through His names. The practice of Christian meditation, is a sacred practice allowing us space to reflect  on God’s Word as we listen for His holy whispers. The first name of God in the Bible is Creator. The book of Genesis is a poetic song of creation. God spoke, and it came to be. “God is forever seeking to Speak Himself out to His creation… He is by nature continuously articulate. He fills the world with His speaking Voice.” A. W. Tozer
