Raw fed dogs should be wormed every month?!

Rowan Sanderson sits down with Dr. Brendan Clarke, President of the Raw Feeding Veterinary Society (RFVS) to briefly discuss and dispel the myth that raw fed dogs should be wormed every month. The guys also discuss best practices on worming your raw-fed dog. Brendan speaks about the appropriate frequency for worming your dog, which depends on its age and worm count. He gives different options for having a worm count done by a professional. Pups who get worms from mum should get wormed monthly for the first few months. Worming should become more infrequent as the months pass and, if a year passes without the presence of eggs, an owner wouldn’t need to worm them more than once every six months.
