Shiza Shahid is the face (and brains) behind Our Place, the cookware brand responsible for one of Instagram’s most beloved products (the viral Always Pan). But Shiza, who was born and raised in Pakistan, has been an entrepreneur and activist long before Our Place took off. In 2013, she became the co-founder of the Malala Fund, a nonprofit formed to advocate for girls’ education after Shiza’s close friend, Malala Yousafzai, was shot by the Taliban on her way home from school.
