The Memphis Design: Creating The Look Of The 80s

You may have never heard of the Memphis Design but you have definitely seen it. You just have to look at the logo for this podcast to see it. The Memphis Design was created by a group of artists called the Memphis Group in 1981. They designed art and furniture using abstract shapes, colors, and lines. Thanks to uses by MTV and shows like Saved by the Bell the Memphis Designs help to shape the aesthetic and look of the 80s.  Show notes: Episode 15
