What's new with metal artist and welder Rae Ripple? Part 1

In this first part of our two-part episode, metal artist and welder Rae Ripple joined hosts Dan Davis and Jim Gorzek at FABTECH 2022 in Atlanta to talk about everything from her massive metal Armadillo sculpture, her love of stunt bike riding, the dangers of hot dogs, her goal to create art for Burning Man, and her clever methods for handling and forming sheet metal. "I couldn't afford equipment the way other people did it. So if I wanted to get stuff done, I had to learn how to do it a different way, with my bare hands. And a lot of my work is still done like that today."
