Michaela Foster Marsh is the author of the book Starchild, a memoir about Michaela’s life with her adopted brother Frankie and Michaela’s journey to learn more about Frankie after his tragic death by finding his birth family in Uganda. Michaela is an acclaimed musician with three albums to her credit andthe founder and Executive Director of Starchild Charity. She lives in Glasgow, Scotland and has received a Prime Minister’s award for her work in Uganda. Michaela Marsh is white but grew up with her black "twin" brother! Tomorrow, my interview with Michaela will drop inside the podcast. Her brother, Frankie was adopted when she was still very young, and they were only a few months apart in age. As far as they were concerned, they were twins. Frankie considered himself of Scottish heritage and never wanted to find out who his birth parents were. Michaela and Frankie were the best of friends! When Frankie passed away, Michaela felt a strong pull to go to Uganda to see where Frankie would have grown up had he not been part of her family. Serendipitously, Michaela got to meet Frankie's birth family. Now, she is connected with people she now considers family in Uganda. This experience has changed her life. Michaela's story is a powerful example of how love draws you out to love without barriers. Connect with Michaela: https://starchildcharity.com/, http://www.michaelaonline.com/, https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Interest/Michaela-Foster-Marsh-singer-songwriter-author-322228187827360/, https://www.facebook.com/starchildcharity/, https://www.facebook.com/michaelafostermarsh For more tools and resources for your intentional family culture, go to join the Family Success Toolkit Free Membership at http://homeandfamilyculture.com
