Brad Spielberger of Pro Football Focus, Stanley Cup Champion Tyler Kennedy

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 3 with Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley: Brad Spielberger of PFF joined the show. Arthur Smith ran more outside zone runs than anyone in Atlanta last year. The Steelers are short on wide receivers. Brad would rank the WR room near the bottom. Michael Penix Jr. had a better pro day than people thought he would and has more athletic ability than given credit for. He is going to meet with the Steelers, but still has medical questions. Saints tight end Tyrann Mathieu called out the Falcons offense from last season and how they give too many carries to players not named Bijan Robinson and catches to tight ends not named Kyle Pitts. Dorin thinks Arthur Smith used them when he needed to, not all the time because he had other players he must have liked. Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. The Penguins won again Monday and are five points back of the playoffs. Sidney Crosby joins Wayne Gretzky in history, but Crosby doesn't talk about himself and this chance to not make the playoffs really hurts the captain. Would Sidney Crosby want to be here for a rebuild and move, potentially, to being a second line center? Crosby maybe would if they're winning.
