Brad Spielberger, Ohtani contract, Tyler Kennedy

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 3 with Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley: Brad Spielberger of Pro Football Focus joined the show. Brad blames the scheme for the Steelers being bad offensively. What Trubisky looked like, looked similar to his first career start. Ouch. He's the same QB from when he stepped on an NFL field in 2017. Brad would play Mason Rudolph in there, but things would look the same because of the scheme. How can the Steelers win games? Feed their top weapons. Two teams that wouldn't make the playoffs out of the 7-6 teams for Brad: Colts and possibly Texans because they have so many injuries. Brad likes the Ravens as the AFC's best team. Are the Cowboys underrated? The perspective of the Cowboys isn't the same as the Steelers despite a lot of similarities between the last six of Jason Garrett and Mike Tomlin. Having won a Super Bowl helps Tomlin. The Steelers are somewhat like the Cowboys and that bothers Crowley. Dorin points to how the last Super Bowl for Dallas was against the Steelers in 1995. Shohei Ohtani is deferring $680 million to 10 years from now for teams to spend. It's ridiculous for baseball but cool for Ohtani. Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. Should the Penguins fire Mike Sullivan? Tyler wouldn't, but something has to happen. They need a spark. Tyler pointed to bringing back... Phil Kessel. How can the Penguins further improve? They need a winning streak. Would the Steelers have a better shot at QB with Ben Roethlisberger? If Ben played right now... we wonder if he would give the Steelers the best chance. We agree he would.
