Brad Spielberger + Will Cam Heyward be back in 2024? + Mike Tomlin's future

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 3 with Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley: Brad Speilberger of Pro Football Focus joined the show. Brad thinks Mason Rudolph did a good job in Buffalo and has a decent arm, but is a No. 2 in the NFL. The play calling didn't help the Steelers' case for a better showing or Mason Rudolph. Najee Harris talked about it after the game and issues with the offense. You can't blame Mike Tomlin for the fact that guys can't tackle. It's fair to wonder if Tomlin will walk away. It would make for 10 coaching positions in the NFL that need new coaches. George Pickens said you can't play the Bills and the refs. There were a number of questionable calls, but George Pickens being the messenger? He fumbled at the 30 yard line and Buffalo scored one play later. Where's the self awareness?! Cam Heyward had a rough season and his body was beaten down this season. We think Cam will be back next season, but is this team going anywhere? Heyward wants to win a Super Bowl and the team doesn't have the necessary elements to win in the playoffs.  Mike Tomlin is now 8-10 in the playoffs. The Steelers have lost their last five playoff games. We have a lot of questions, but very few answers. You can't have Mason Rudolph and Kenny Pickett on the same roster next year. Examples of other coaches who have been fired and moved on from their teams. Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick are no longer coaching.
