Jeff Hathhorn + Najee Harris questions team discipline + What to do at QB?

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 2 with Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley: Sports Director Jeff Hathhorn joined the show. Jeff doesn't really take anything from Mike Tomlin walking away from the podium. He thinks it's a fair question from the reporter who asked Tomlin about his future, but thinks Tomlin made it a bigger deal than whatever he could have said. Jeff said he doesn't know if Mike Tomlin necessarily knows if he'll be back, but thinks he'll return. Barring a big setback physically, Cam Heyward will probably be back next season. Najee Harris said the structure of the team needs to change and was probably alluding to Alabama. When he mentioned it, Tomlin came into the room and was right behind where players were talking. The offense didn't take shots downfield. Mason Rudolph was still their best option in the game and played ok. Mason Rudolph doesn't know if he'll be back next season. Dorin thinks Rudolph played well and the interception was a better play by the defender than a bad throw. Najee Harris knows there's no counter punch to the box being stacked and they're going to run it anyway. It doesn't appear Mason Rudolph could audible at the line. If there is something to gripe about with the officiating, it's the lack of holding calls. Calls on the Steelers loss. Many fans want Mike Tomlin fired or moved. Crowley would try to trade Kenny Pickett, bring back Mason Rudolph as a stopgap quarterback, and draft a new QB. It's enough games to know what Pickett is probably going to be long term. Dorin gives his thoughts on QB and how the Steelers should change.
