Mitch Keller and the Pirates agreed to a five-year extension

The Pirates signed Mitch Keller to a reported five-year, $77 million deal. Keller was great in the first half. Keller had a FIP of 3.81 in his last 10 starts, which is correspondent of what his ERA should be in regards to the ballpark and other factors. This is a developmental success story for the Pirates. They're showing that they believe this team can win, but they need to further show investment with another pitcher.
