Rooney: Tomlin will receive an extension

Art Rooney confirmed that Mike Tomlin will be back and given a contract extension. When will Tomlin be extended? It's probable his contract will be for two additional seasons. Free agents that want to play for Tomlin want to know as well. A press release confirming a two-year extension is probably coming soon. It would confirm why Tomlin was happy and cheerful to start his press conference, but Tomlin seems on notice things could change if he continues to struggle in the playoffs.
