Rudolph outlook, Ben wants to see Rudolph, the NFL changes week by week

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 2: Josh doesn't think Mason Rudolph will play well two games in a row. We hear from callers The scheme against the Steelers defensively was poor in how they covered George Pickens. Pickens was 1-on-1 numerous times and took advantage. Kenny Pickett thrives when he's on the move and isn't as good in the pocket. His big throws are on the move and being stuck in the pocket too much. A caller says the idea Mason Rudolph hasn't gotten a real shot is a false narrative. He had the opportunity when Roethlisberger got hurt and didn't rise to the occasion. Good players are not third string players. He's had his chances and hasn't been good. Kenny Pickett defenders stand by him and think he's the future. Josh has gathered the Steelers will not get another quarterback and will give Pickett another opportunity in 2024. Ben Roethlisberger wants to see Mason Rudolph stay at QB this week and Kenny Pickett get close to 100%. It's odd Ben said this after being on the field numerous times not close to 100%. The NFL is a week to week vacuum. The 49ers were the IT team in the NFL, and now people are thinking Brock Purdy might be exposed. We are reactionary.
