The Penguins made a trade Thursday, deadline discussion, Chiefs signed punter Matt Araiza

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 2 with Dorin Dickerson, Adam Crowley, and Paul Zeise: The Penguins made a trade Thursday that Crowley thinks doesn't make much sense. The Pens acquired Emil Bemstrom from Columbus for Alex Nylander and a 2026 conditional 6th. If Bemstrom scores five goals the rest of the season, the Penguins now will give up a 3rd round pick. WHY?! It's an added layer of something the Penguins don't need. Crowley isn't worried about the Penguins showing that they are waving the white flag with potential trades. Would you trade Tristan Jarry? It's a possibility, but probably unlikely. It's an ok contract for Jarry. He does have some value and four years remaining on his deal. Crowley wanted the Steelers to sign Matt Araiza as their punter, but Kansas City signed him. The charges were dropped against him months ago and now gets a chance with the two-time defending champions. The Bechtold Breakdown.
