Will Mason be back? Mahomes or Brady? Players don't play for one team as much anymore

The Fan Morning Show - A podcast by Audacy - Fridays

Hour 2 with Dorin Dickerson, Jeff Hathhorn, and Pat Bostick: Mason Rudolph was given his flowers by Art Rooney and the Steelers owner doesn't think we've seen Mason's ceiling. Jeff doesn't think Mason Rudolph will be back because they are committed to giving Pickett a chance. If Pickett has a few bad throws at camp, fans will be changing for Rudolph. Can Mason Rudolph actually take the Steelers to the playoffs during a 17 game stretch? Jeff doesn't think you should build an offense around him. Dorin thinks people need to pump the brakes saying Patrick Mahomes is better than Tom Brady and the NFL goat. Tom Brady is still the greatest ever. Mahomes has two Super Bowls, Brady has seven. We're not Tom Brady fans, and some sketchy stuff happened with cheating and much more, but he's the best right now. Mahomes has time to change that. Art Rooney said the Steelers are in a better spot now than they were a year ago. They made the playoffs, so it's better in that regard, but what really matters when you don't do anything with it? We felt much more hopeful and optimistic when Kenny Pickett led game-winning drives against Baltimore and the Raiders. Cam Heyward wants to finish his career with the Steelers, but do other players? Dorin thinks players would rather take the money and/or go win a Super Bowl instead of sticking with one team their entire career. A few players could stay with the team that drafted and signed them. Pat thinks it's only getting worse with how college football is turning with NL and he also pointed to Tom Brady leaving New England.
