In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about why sometimes taking a step back is what’s necessary in order to continue to effectively move forwards. Although it may seem a bit backwards on face value, sometimes what you need to do in order to progress personally or professionally is actually just pause and sit where you are for a moment, or take a step back and look at the bigger picture. An example in context of resistance training would be running a deload, or taking a break when you’re unwell. This is something that I encourage with clients and continually reinforce..as when you have a great work ethic sometimes you can get into the mindset of thinking that doing more is always better which is not always the case. This concept however also applies to other areas of life such as business, and our personal lives. In this podcast episode I go into this in more detail, and also share with you what I learnt from having a brief break away from Instagram and why I felt as though I needed to take a step back from it at the time.
