In today's episode of The Female Fitness Podcast I talk about how the grass isn't always greener on the other side and how we need to focus on being present, practicing gratitude for what we have, and romanticising the little things in life. I talk about how comparison can be both productive and extremely unproductive, give examples of both, and explain how it's important to recognise what's good for us and what's not so that we can use this to our advantage. When we fall into the trap of negative comparison it has a big impact on our lives and we need to work on being present, and practicing gratitude for where we’re at right now. We can do this whilst striving to better ourselves or our situation if we want to, and this is much more productive than striving to change from a negative, unappreciative place.
