Weight loss was already a multi-billion dollar industry. Now, anti-obesity drugs that began as treatments for type-two diabetes are beginning to make their mark including Ozempic. Wegovy, a high-dose version of Ozempic, was the first approved by the FDA for weight loss in 2021, followed by Aepbound, a new version of Mounjaro, last year.  All the drugs help with hunger by imitating hormones that would normally help regulate appetite after you eat.,   These drugs got even more attention recently when Oprah announced she was leaving the board of Weight Watchers after disclosing she was using a weight loss medication. FOX News Rundown host Lisa Brady recently spoke with celebrity fitness trainer Jillian Michaels, who's also a certified nutrition and wellness consultant, best-selling author and businesswoman, Michael took a deeper dive into the science behind the drugs and the bigger picture of health and wellness including why people are so hungry and the root causes the drugs don't address.
