From Washington: Israel's "Limited Strike" on Iran

The Fox News Rundown - A podcast by FOX News Radio

Early Friday morning, Israel conducted a "limited" strike on Iran in retaliation for Tehran firing a barrage of missiles and drones at the country last Saturday. Reports suggest Iran doesn't have immediate plans to respond to the most recent attack. However, U.S. lawmakers fear a wider Mideast war is on the horizon, with the House proposing several bills throughout the week. One such bill passed that would redesignate Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen as a terrorist group. Senior Fellow and Military Expert at Defense Priorities Daniel Davis joins to discuss the current state of play in Iran.  House Democrats took an abnormal approach and helped Republican leaders move forward with a test vote that could advance a bill that would provide $95 billion in aid to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) faces pushback from some House GOP members who feel that Congress should not pass the bill without including provisions for the Southern border. Speaker Johnson's fate lies in the hands of the vote, with some Congressional Republicans threatening to oust him. The House will officially vote on the bill on Saturday afternoon. FOX News Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram speaks to FOX News White House Correspondent Jacqui Heinrich about the fate of the speakership and previews Saturday's vote.
