Hunter Biden Crashes Capitol Hill Hearing
The Fox News Rundown - A podcast by FOX News Radio
Hunter Biden made a surprise appearance on Capitol Hill this week, as he crashed a hearing that was held to determine whether or not he would be held in contempt for defying a House subpoena. House Republicans have been investigating Biden's overseas business dealings, and his father, the President's potential involvement. FOX News Legal Editor Kerri Kupec Urbahn joins to discuss the legal ramifications Hunter Biden faces for defying the House subpoena, why she believes Hunter made the appearance before Congress, and how his gun charges in California impact the federal investigation into his business dealings. Congress is yet again working down to the minute to avoid a possible government shutdown. The first funding deadline is next week, but a larger shutdown is on the horizon if Congress fails to reach a deal by February 2nd. Over the weekend, Democratic Senate Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) worked out a continuing resolution to fund the government until then. However, many Republicans in the House are against it. Congressman Matt Rosendale (R-MT) is one of them and joins the Rundown to discuss his opposition to the CR and why he thinks the House should impeach the Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.
