These two areas are key to creating intimacy in our relationships with others around us.  Show Notes: Communication & Vulnerability Addressing unrealistic expectations of one another. Be quick to forgive. Sharing vulnerabilities or insecurities from past or in the present. Learning each other’s communication styles and making adjustments in order to understand each other’s perspectives. Realizing that a relationship is 2 imperfect people submitting to the will of Christ so they can honor each other as one. love language: everyone is different and this can effect communication. Cultivating a safe place where intimacy & vulnerability is accepted and not shamed. God created us to bear each other’s burdens. Share in each others suffering. Addressing childhood experiences/ look at society’s expectations of men compared to women (vulnerability=weakness or emotional) Verses: “Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”Galatians 6:2 “Be devoted to one another in love.
