In this second part, Caspar Reiff performs a funky Bach jam, cooks a Danish Dream cake for Eat the World, and joins Billy in performing their original track "Where It Began". Cake recipe below! Caspar Reiff founded The Tolkien Ensemble in 1995. It is a Danish ensemble that successfully aimed to create "the world's first complete musical interpretation of the poems and songs from The Lord of the Rings". They published four CDs from 1997 to 2005, in which all the poems and songs of The Lord of the Rings are set to music. Cake Recipe:300 g sugar4 middle-sized eggs1 teaspoon vanilla sugar280 g wheat flour3 teaspoons baking powder2-deciliter milk (2/10th of a liter) 70 grams butter (lightly salted) Topping:130 grams butter175 grams of coconut flakes260 grams of brown sugar1-deciliter milk (1/10th of a liter)Whip vanilla, sugar, and eggs. Take your time: the longer you whip it, the better ;)Mix baking powder with flour and gently turn it into the dough through a sieve so that the flour does not clump.Cut the butter into small cubes and heat it in a pan with milk. Don't let it boil. When the butter is melted, put it into the dough. The whole dough comes in an ovenproof dish lined with baking paper.I use an ovenproof dish of approx. 30 x 24 cm with a reasonably high edge, so there is room left for the filling.Bake the cake for 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 175 degrees celsius hot air until almost done.Topping:Put coconut flakes, butter, milk, and brown sugar in a pan, bring to a boil while stirring, and remove from the heat immediately. When the cake is done, take it out of the oven, which is screwed up to 225 celsius. Spread the filling over the cake and put it back in the oven - bake for another 6 minutes.Let the dream cake cool and then it is ready to be enjoyedSend us pics and vids of how your cake turned out!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
