In this film Pacino portrays a Cuban immigrant who has just moved to America; previously working as an assassin. There are three areas which we focus on during this episode: 1. Money – The character at the start of the film is drawn to money as he sees it as a way of achieving his goals. He sees it as a first step towards getting power and women as opposed to hid friend who hits on women without having the right attributes in place first. 2. Power – One the character achieves power he then grows in confidence and believes that this will leads him to become more attractive to women; and specifically his future wife. 3. Women – What made this character great also lead to his downfall. His power hungry persona was not kept in check and led to the demise in his life and also with women.
