In this video, I speak about Vivobarefoot running shoes and my views after transitioning into wearing them the past few months. I talk about the reason why I moved into wearing them, the benefits of barefoot shoes and how they have helped my confidence. I moved into barefoot shoes after I tore my calf when I was running around 30 miles per week. Since that injury, I kept getting secondary injuries and my calves were always a problem that prevented me from running as much as I would like. So after seeing a physio I decided to build my arch strength and then researched online and discovered barefoot shoes. Since wearing barefoot shoes I have seen an improvement in my posture as they help to build my foot strength and also my hip and glutes. This has decreased the pain that I feel in my shoulders and neck from a car accident that I had when I was eighteen years old. Wearing barefoot shoes has been phenomenal in reducing pain levels within three months of wearing them alongside some strength conditioning.
