Like all our episodes these days, we start off this most amazing podcast episode with the Jetpack Launchpad, a guest segment where each week we are joined by a different staff member at Jetpack Comics and Games. This week, Jack and Artie are joined by their pal Nick to discuss what’s been going on at the store, the many Batman wards to take on the Robin mantle, the wacky worlds of the Marvel multiverse and more. After that, we review the newly released trailer for Marvel Studios’ Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the next Marvel movie to come out after Black Widow. Our Dad joins us for Tales From the Dollar Bin when he reviews Squadron Supreme #1, Marvel/New Universe Night Mask #1 & The Pitiful Human Lizard from Chapter House Comics while Artie reviews Quality Comics’ Rogue Trooper #1 & Pitbulls #2 from Dark Horse and Jack reviews the DC Silver Age classics reprint of Showcase #22, the first Green Lantern comic with Hal Jordan & DC Secret Origins #3, a post-crisis retelling of how Billy Batson received the powers of Shazam. After Dollar Bin, Jack and Artie talk about how Alfred Molina, Doctor Octopus himself said in a recent interview that he will return to his role of Otto Octavios in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home in which he will be teaming up with several other villains to take on the current MCU version of Spider-Man. For The Battles, Uncle Russ joins us for a debate on who wins in an all out battle between Vector, the up and coming villain with both direction & magnitude and Syndrome, the fanboy turned evil by disappointment in his heroic idol. What’ll it be, Despicable Me or Incredibles? Rocket boots or squid launchers? Super villain or master thief? You decide!
