Transforming the Toy Box

This episode of the Geek Gossip podcast has a news theme unlike any prior: collectibles, which we kick off with discussing the new Hasbro Transformers: Generations Collaborative series action figures from Hasbro Pulse with features newly created Cybertronians combined with other franchises such as Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Top Gun and the soon to be released X-Men based Autobot who turns into the super team’s jet, the Blackbird. We also discuss Transformers: Generations Collaborative that we want them to make in the future. We also touch base on the new Superman Pop! Vinyl Comic Covers (first in the series) inspired off of one of the most iconic comic covers of all time, Action Comics #1, along with the new Star Wars action figures Hasbro released for Fan First Friday from toy lines like the Black Series and the Vintage Collection. Our dad also joins us for Tales From the Dollar Bin when he looks back on the awesome adventures he experienced in DC First Issue Special #1, the introduction of Jack Kirby’s Atlas and some reprints of Jim Steranko’s notable works in Nick Fury: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. while Jack reviews the epic four story reprint anthology known as Spider-Man Megazine #5.
