Today we are tackling the three myths of procrastination! Procrastination is all about fear. So one thing to realize is fear is not real. Fear is a distraction and it will always come up in order to distract you or tell you that you are afraid so that you don't move forward on whatever it is you are choosing to do. Just because you are feeling fearful doesn't mean that it is a good reason to stop. Myth number two is that you're procrastinating because you feel like you're not capable of doing that task. It's not that you're actually feeling like you're incapable of doing that task. It's that you feel like you need to get it right. Myth number three, high impulsiveness and distraction. This myth says that you are procrastinating because you're easily distracted. You are unable to focus or that you have a high level or tendency to follow bright, shiny things and be impulsive. Is it really true or do you just not desire doing the thing that you are procrastinating doing?
