My name is Kimberly Olson. Your hostess, hopefully with the mostest, and I have a special guest on today, Michelle Glogovac. How are you, girlfriend? Michelle Glogovac: I am so good. So excited to chat with you again? Kimberly Olson: Yes, absolutely. That's one of the beautiful things about podcasting and having guests on and being guests is that you really do start to create these relationships, partnerships, able to network, which we're going to get into today. So you are someone that is very special in my life. You are somebody that helped me grow my Goal Digger brand through becoming a guest on other people's podcasts. So I want to first off thank you for that, but I know a lot of my listeners may be new to you. So can you share a little bit about yourself and how you got into the entrepreneurial space? Michelle Glogovac: Yes. So as you said, I'm Michelle Glogovac. I am the CEO and founder of The MSL Collective and the host of the My Simplified Life podcast. I was actually in corporate aviation for 18 years and had two babies back to back and was laid off from my job in April of 2018 and decided at that point I want to do something that lights me up. That makes me excited, that gets me out of bed in the morning because jet fuel really didn't do that for me. Kimberly Olson: No, it didn't? Michelle Glogovac: It took all of this to realize the part that I enjoyed about my job was the relationships I was creating. Over almost two decades, you get to know people, their families, you know, you watch single people become married people and have babies. And so that was really the part I enjoyed in my job. So at that point, I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I knew I didn't want to travel as much as I was. And a woman from my birthing class added me to a Facebook group of a life and business coach who was launching her podcast. This was September of 2018. And at that time I did not know how to listen to a podcast. I didn't know. I have an iPhone. I didn't know what that purple button meant. I do now. Kimberly Olson: Yeah, you do! Michelle Glogovac: Yeah. And so I was listening to her and thinking there's gotta' be something that I want to do. I have to figure out my passion, what do I want to do? And she actually reached out to me and said, "do you want to start pitching me to be on podcasts?  Because you like my content, obviously. You get what I'm saying, and you could be that number one fan".  So I took that and I ran with it. And I launched my own podcast. I've launched hundreds now of podcasts. Between the course that I've created and then just being a producer behind the scenes.  --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/thegoaldiggergirl/support
