Kimberly Olson: Welcome everyone back to another episode of The Goal Digger Girl. I'm so excited to have a special guest, Vanette Grover. Say that 10 times fast. One of my best friends in the whole wide world has agreed to connect with you guys and share her story. And I'm just excited to get this time together because we don't get enough time together so we had to schedule it right on our calendars so we could chat, catch up and obviously bring you guys in. So welcome on Venette. I'm so excited to have you.
Vanette Grover: Oh, I couldn't be more thrilled to be here. Kimberly. Thank you so much.
Kimberly Olson: Yay. Well I think most people know you cause I'm always talking about you. You're always the profile I pull up whenever I'm doing social media audits, teaching on Instagram. But if people haven't heard of you, can you please introduce yourself, tell them a little bit about you and your entrepreneurial journey.
Vanette Grover: Oh my gosh, absolutely. So first of all, everyone, good to be here today. I am a farm wife, a course creator, a business coach, a life coach, and network marketer. All of the above. And it does my heart good when Kimberly says she pulls up my profiles and such in her teaching because that means I must be doing well by her. She has taught me well. She has taught me well. So, so thank you for that compliment. I was actually an educator for about 21 years, left that in 2010 to come home and be more present in managing farm and family quite frankly. And I'm from rural Iowa by the way. I don't think I said that and about, well during that time I kind of lost myself when I was in my educator position. I was at the top of my game, traveled across the state and spoke in other States as well.
Vanette Grover: I just, I was, you know, in it. And when it was time to leave that it was great at first cause I'm an introvert, so I love home time. That is my thing. That's what fuels my battery. But I also lost myself. And during those years of feeling a little bit lost, I knew there was something else calling me. I just didn't know what it was. And then like many of us who may have online businesses now or who may support other online businesses, we were looking for something and I was looking for something. Iinitially I thought, boy, if I could just lose weight, I've dealt with weight my whole life. So that was my thing. If I could just lose weight, well guess what? Not only did I lose the weight, there were so many things attached to it. I am someone who has an autoimmune disease, so I was hurting 24/7.
Vanette Grover: I was able to get rid of that. I had a depression, well, like not supposed to say it that way, but to lose cycles over and over in my adult life, I was able to lose that chronic fatigue, always napping, couldn't sleep. And I mean the whole hot mess, total hot mess. But my products were something that within just a few days, boom, brain fog lifted and I fell in love, fell in love with things that were going to help me, but it didn't stop there.
