The Age of Mystery Cults (Was the Apostle Paul a Mythicist?) S2:E8

In this episode we survey mystery cults and early messianic belief in the 40's, 50's and 60's. We also examine the letters from Paul that he wrote to church leaders and congregations to see how he describes his messiah in comparison to the dozens of other messianic mystery cults in the same region. The scope of this episode is to determine the legitimacy of the gosples written 25 to 30 years later and their claim of a historical Jesus, killed by the Romans at the fault of the Jews or the "Wicked Generation".
