Jason Pickard, my good friend and fellow journeyman, came to Louisville for a fabulous weekend of tobacco, storytelling, medicine ceremony, and a lot of laughs and tears. Jason is a former Wall Street trader who was hundreds of millions rich with "money" but found himself a hollow shell of a man. His life - and health - gradually began to fall apart, and he was forced to reconcile with the reality that he would never find happiness through material wealth alone.
