Homeschooling with a Broken Spirit
The Homeschool Sanity Show - A podcast by Melanie Wilson, PhD - Tuesdays

Hey, homeschoolers! Homeschooling during a pandemic can certainly be a challenge. For some of us, it leads to a broken spirit. I've certainly had my days! But I experienced an even greater challenge in the days following a miscarriage. I want to offer you the help and hope you need for homeschooling with a broken spirit. I invited fellow conference speaker Dennis Gundersen of Grace and Truth Books to join me. In this interview, we discuss some common causes of discouragement and how we can break free from a depressed mindset. Dennis is a Christian publisher of children's stories from the 1800s with a character-building emphasis. He served as Senior Pastor at two Tulsa churches and is now devoted to writing, publishing and conference speaking. Dennis is the author of the books Your Child's Profession of Faith, Courtship or Dating: So What’s the Difference?, and A Praying Church. Dennis is a frequent speaker at church conferences, men's retreats, and home education conventions. He and his wife Naomi have been married for 44 years and they have four adult sons and six grandchildren. I'm so pleased that he is sharing his pastoral wisdom with us today.
