S2 - E 18 - Elspeth - I'm not alone in feeling different

Elspeth is a storyteller, food fanatic, and avid traveller. She loves learning about the people behind the places she visits, about the details that make up a community. She works full-time as a Marketing Manager in the travel industry, but her passion is her side hustle where she writes for brands and entrepreneurs she is passionate about. I "e-met" Elspeth when she first came to Swiss Escape this winter with her partner Ari. We had a call so I could interview her about her stay and that is when I thought her story would make a great podcast episode. Indeed Elspeth is taking half a year to explore the freedom offers. We talk about community of course, our need for it no matter what stage of life we are in but we also discuss if we define ourselves as digital nomads, remote workers or anything else. We talk about the image of digital nomads social media send out and how it can actually be a lifestyle embraced by anyone. Finally we share our thoughts on navigating being women in their 30s trying to live their best lives, in today's society, still full of injunctions.
