S3 - E5 - Alex - It provides an environment for de-armouring

This is an episode recorded a month or so ago with Alex Chau, another K9er. Alex was born in Melbourne about 33 years ago, he moved to Sweden about 7 years ago and has been at K9 for the last 3 of those. Alex and I share a lot of similarities in our Swedish and coliving journey: we both came to this country for our partners, both separated on the way, moved into K9 and found something we did not really know we had been missing and looking for. We talk about his personal experience sharing a home for 3 years with 50 people, sharing a bedroom with a stranger who will soon turn into a great friend and co founder of the now famous Studio 54. We discuss expectations , responsabilities and roles in a self run community and the importance of being willing to take the challenges such a lifestyle throws at you in order to truly grow and ripe the benefits of shared living.
